Lunaria Streams are designed to help organizations create a standard of DEI knowledge across team members. Each Lunaria Stream covers a foundational DEI topic through 3-4 units that are 5-15 minutes in length.

In this Stream, we unpack the difference between appropriation and appreciation, the impact of appropriation in the workplace and how to differentiate between the two in real life.
Biases| 4 UNITS
In this Stream, we will define what biases are, discuss why and how biases exist, define some common biases, and share how biases play out in the workplace and how to interrupt them.
DEI Data | 4 UNITS
In this Stream, we define what DEI data is, why it is important, the types of DEI data you might collect and how to make meaning out of it. This Stream was created for DEI practitioners to weave DEI data throughout their work.
Disabilities and Ableism | 4 UNITS
In this Stream, we will help you identify and explain what disabilities are, how they can show up at work, what ableism is and how to be inclusive of people with disabilities.
Emotional Labor | 3 UNITS
In this Stream, we unpack emotional labor, what it is, its importance in DEI conversation, how it appears in the workplace and how we can work against it.
Gender and Sexuality | 4 UNITS
In this Stream, developed alongside OK2BME, we define gender and sexual identity and help learners understand why they matter. We provide tips to foster an inclusive space for people of all genders and sexualities.
Introduction to DEI | 4 UNITS
This Stream helps learners explore what DEI is, the value behind it, and how its practices can benefit employees at your organization. It also provides tips on practicing self-care as they engage in DEI learning.
Mental Health | 3 UNITS
In this Stream, we highlight the differences between mental health and mental illness, the impacts of mental health, as well as how to promote mental wellbeing in an organization.
Power, Privilege and Responsibility | 3 UNITS
In this Stream, we define the concepts of power, privilege and responsibility and how it impacts how one operates in an organization.
Psychological Safety | 3 UNITS
In this Stream, we define psychological safety, explore where it comes from, reflect on what contributes to psychological safety, and ideate how learners might promote psychological safety.
Race and Racism | 4 UNITS
In this Stream, we unpack race, ethnicity and racism and how they impact how team members navigate different organizations. Learners will be equipped with tools to recognize and respond to racism.
Religion and Religious Discrimination | 3 UNITS
In this Stream, we explore what religion is, how everyone experiences and is impacted by religion differently, what religious discrimination looks like at work, and how we can address it.
Starting a DEI committee | 3 UNITS
In this Stream, we define what a DEI committee is, its purpose, as well as why it is beneficial to an organization’s DEI strategy. Learners will be guided through a process to start a DEI Committee.
Starting an Employee Resource Group | 3 UNITS
In this Stream, learners we define what an Employee Resource Group (ERG) is, its purpose, as well as why it is beneficial to an organization’s DEI strategy. Learners will be guided through a process to start an ERG with a corresponding activity sheet.
Women @ Work | 4 UNITS
In this Stream, we aim to help learners explore the most pressing issues facing women today, why it is important to address these issues and learn about gender equity in the workplace. We introduce tangible actions learners can take to create a more equitable workplace.
